Brittney Rae Carrera (Known as Brittney Rae) was born on March 15, 1994 in Miami,Florida and raised in a Cuban-American household. In 2016 Brittney moved to New York City and studied acting at HB studio. She performed on some Off-Broadway as well as Improv, sketch comedy (UCB Main Stage) and stand up comedy. in 2018, Brittney started writing and directing. Her film "PROXIMITY" was shown at Mammoth Film Festival, covered by press outlets such as Variety, LA weekly and Forbes. In 2019 Brittney moved to Los Angeles to perform comedy, going viral on the internet with TBS network and YouTube celebrities. Brittney was 1 of 6 filmmakers accepted for the Sundance short film intensive for her recent film "WATER". Brittney was specially selected and featured in the "Her Voice" block as a female Director. Her work has been honored at San Diego Comic Con, Miami Film Festival and Indie Memphis. She appeared in Gunner Willis's article titled "Directors You Should Know."
