Damian was born in Bismarck, North Dakota in December of 1986. He is the second of 5 children and son of Evelyn Conrad and Paul Davis. He spent most of his childhood in Albuquerque, NM and Augusta, GA but moved with his family to Lamoni, IA for his final year of high school. Despite the desire to move to LA to pursue acting or attend a more prestigious acting school upon graduation, his parents encouraged him to attend their alma-mater, Graceland University where he was recruited to play football and baseball. Damian quickly found a home in GU's strong theatre department and got to work studying the methods of Stanislavski. Damian's small theatre cohort included Filipe Valle Costa (FX's Snowfall, Chicago Med) and Arber Mehmeti (AM Acting Studio, Santa Clarita Diet, Jane the Virgin, Shameless) After 5 years of singing in musicals, exploring experimental theatre, basking in the words of Shakepeare, going to theatre festival and building sets, Damian earned his BA in Theatre Performance. Eager to escape the cornfields of Iowa, he moved to Chicago to find work in its vast theatre scene. He found work as a Segway tour guide in downtown Chicago and quickly fell in love with the city life. Chicago's theatre scene proved to be a great challenge and great place to grow as an actor and an artist. While honing his craft in the theatre, Damian began to get work in television and film. Due to his love for the city, Damian was determined to remain in Chicago. However after 7 years, and despite his agent's wishes for him to stay, he determined that a move out west was the only way for his career to grow. Arriving in LA in 2017, the 30yr old Damian assembled an awesome team and began his journey in LA's film and television scene. Before the Covid 19 pandemic shut down the industry Damian collected two television credits and a National At&t commercial.
