Oluf Marshall was born in Hong Kong in 1993. The son of a Royal Hong Kong Police Officer. The youngest of 3 siblings, the family moved to East Lothian - Scotland in 1997. He attended Loretto School in Musselburgh and worked in a number of jobs within Hospitality including Concierge and Night Auditor. In 2013, he enrolled at Edinburgh college where he studied Writing and Directing at HND level, graduating in 2015. In 2016 he was offered a place at New York Film Academy to study Screenwriting, graduating in 2017. In 2017, he returned to Scotland where he was worked on a number of productions as a Supporting Artist and Associate Producer.
