Priscilla Wittman is an Mexican-American actress, composer, pianist and vocalist. She has worked in both film and television in the USA and in Europe. Recently, she completed filming the role of Josephine in the German/Finnish cinema film Sweet Disaster (2021), which premiered at the Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis in January 2022, and is scheduled for German theatre release later this year. Last winter she participated in the Playground Film Festival in Leuven, Belgium where she performed live interacting in the film You have a future, but it looks a lot like your Past! (2021) by artists Helen Anna Flanagan and Marijke De Roover. She can also be seen as a Wedding Officiant Spy in the delightful comedy 36 Husbands (2019). Her recent performance as the older "Talli" in the psychological thriller 8 Remains (2018) was described by critic Bobby LePire as "impressive, suggesting heartbreak and confusion with just a few lines of dialogue". In 55 Steps (Eleanor and Colette) (2017) in the role of a serious nurse, she had the chance to work closely alongside Hillary Swank, under the direction of the renowned Danish Academy Award-winning film and television director Bille August. She portrayed the role of a grieving mother in the Indie film Edda Tudor (2019), and portrays a somewhat comical vendor, known as the "chicken lady" in the film To be a Soldier (2018). She can also be seen in the popular faith and family film Providence (2016). Priscilla completed her first CD in 2009, entitled Te Glorificare (I will Glorify your Name) singing a variety of her original Spanish Christian compositions. The initial tracks for the CD were recorded under the direction of the late world-renowned Mexican composer and singer, her former father-in-law Luis Demetrio (composer of Sway, Si Dios me Quita la Vida), along his son Luis Jr. She continues to actively work in music composition, and in 2019, she was contracted to arrange the Christmas orchestral selections for the Christmas greeting of the mayor of Duesseldorf, Germany. She studied composition with the American classical composer Robert Xavier Rodriguez and voice with Barbara Chenault Law, a former student of Madame Paola Novikova (teacher of Nicolai Gedda and George London). Priscilla has most recently been cast in ABC's/ Komixx Entertainment's TV series 'ITCH' as a series regular character 'Roshanna Wing' (seasons 1 and 2). Born and raised in Perth, Priscilla completed her BA in Film, Television & Performing Arts and quickly landed a main role in Canadian Feature Film 'The Pineville Heist', which resulted in a nomination for 'Best Supporting Actress' in the US Hollywood International Film Festival and a win for 'Best Actress in a Thriller' at the Actors Awards in Los Angeles. Beginning in junior high school, Nasution joined the national training camp for the Indonesian martial art pencak silat. She later attended university in Germany, majoring in information technology. In 2003, during her university studies, Nasution was offered a chance to become a runway model. She accepted as she thought it would be an easy way to earn money, but soon discovered that she lacked the confidence to do it professionally; in a 2011 interview with The Jakarta Post she said her thighs were too big, making her body "defective" for modeling. After retiring from modeling, Nasution was cast in several TV movies. She was later cast in Ifa Isfansyah's 2011 movie Sang Penari (The Dancer) as the lead female character, Srintil, after two casting sessions; when her first audition failed, she read the original novel by Ahmad Tohari and decided that she could not take no for an answer. To prepare for the role, she spent time as a ronggeng in Banyumas, Central Java, practicing dancing and learning the language spoken there; she also spent a period eating less to better portray a malnourished rural girl. As of January 2012, Nasution is playing in the TV series Laskar Pelangi - The Series (Rainbow Warriors - The Series), based on the novel by Andrea Hirata. She is also writing an original screenplay about parallel lives in the 1940s and 2010s
